FRØ is a tiny home where every square metre has a purpose – designed so you can build it yourself.
Born from Experience
FRØ didn’t start on a drawing board. It grew out of years of building and living in homes I built myself.
I’m Ivan Gradoboev. Over the past few years, I’ve designed and built several homes from the ground up, learning every part of the process along the way — from the structure itself to plumbing, electrical and off-grid systems.
I then spent years actually living with those decisions, seeing what worked, what mattered and what could be made better.
FRØ is the result.

Frø is 3×7m / 21m2.
It has all the essentials engineered into a footprint that fits anywhere.

A compact kitchen and separate bathroom provide the essentials, leaving the rest of the interior as an open space to use however you choose.

Timber-frame construction with 150 mm Rockwool insulation in the walls and 200 mm in the floor and roof. Large triple-glazed windows bring plenty of natural light and a greater sense of space to the interior.

Smart home systems are integrated into the design, with wireless control and automation built into the electrical setup.

FRØ can operate with conventional utility connections or completely off-grid. The design accounts for solar power, battery storage and autonomous water systems from the start.

FRØ comes with detailed plans, specifications and step-by-step video instructions to guide you through the entire building process.
FRØ is only the beginning.
